Winter Camping / Ice Fishing Trip

If you call us and mention the word "trout", chances are you’ll be on the phone for a while. Fishing is what we’re passionate about, and doing so while camping in comfort deep in the wilderness excites us even more. Everything included in the winter camping package, but now with a focus on fishing. Catch walleyes and crappies early in the winter (December), and lake trout and brook trout later in the winter (January ? March). The BWCA has its own seasons on lake trout (longer than the rest of Minnesota), and we like to take advantage of that. Fishing gear is included in this package.

Package includes a professional guide, meals and equipment. Equipment includes Snowtrekker wall tent, wood stove, sleeping bags (rated to 20 below), 4-season inflatable sleeping pads, toboggan packages, snowshoes or skis, and other camping and cooking gear.

The fishing package also includes a hand auger, Vexilar depth finders, rods and tackle, compact fish houses and heaters (if expecting a deep cold) and bait. Licenses not included.
